What is it?
Smooth Plaster is a 100% acrylic-based plaster designed to fnish Smooth Plaster Basecoat or existing smooth surfaces for a superior, ultra-smooth plaster that is crack and water resistant. Traditional cementitious smooth stucco spider cracks and requires costly mesh and base.
Benefits:
Smooth Plaster minimizes cracks, and provides a durable, ultra-smooth finish. It is fully tintable using traditional paint pigments. Smooth Plaster can be applied with smaller crews due to longer cure time and shows fewer dry lines vs traditional stucco systems. Smooth Plaster can be patched and lightly sanded to blend. Product has Low Shrinkage and conceals cracks better than competing products. Low VOC Formula.
Simple Application
Step 1
Prepare your base depending on build. Can go over existing mud coat or other materials.
Step 2
Apply even coat of smooth plaster, using drywall tools.
Step 3
Lightly trowel with drywall tools and level for final step of smooth plaster.
Step 4
Use spray bottle of water to complete you smooth finish. Lightly hand finish to achieve your desired finish.
