Texture & Paint is an innovative, all-in-one high-performance texture and paint coating system, combining the characteristics of a tough and durable texture and paint, which can be applied as a two-step single time application.
What is it?
Texture & Paint is designed for use over interior gypsum
wallboard or interior concrete surfaces. Packaged as a ready to spray viscosity for both the priming/painting process and the texturing process. Texture & Paint is a very high solids, acrylic base, low odor, zero VOC system. It has excellent sprayability, texture definition, wet and dry hide, is fast drying and curing, with superior adhesion, and hardness. It exhibits a very high build, ultra-at nish with excellent touch-up, abrasion and mar resistance, water resistance, and scrub resistance.

This single product Texture & Paint system not only simplifies and reduces the number of products required to texture and paint, but it also provides the benefit of a solid through color system for the paint and texture process. In addition, the two-step single time application process is faster and easier, as it does not require extended drying and recoat times for multiple applications. Texture & Paints’ alkali resistance (up to pH 13) allows for seven day old (‘hot’) and older concrete to be coated. Although not required, Texture & Paint can be top-coated with standard finishing paints. Zero VOC Formula.
Simple Application
Step 1
Prepare a level 3 wall.
Step 2
Spray texture & paint - Orange Peel. If spraying knockdown, let it set and knockdown just like normal texture.
Step 3
Spray final coat. Depending on weather conditions, let texture set to a firm touch and then spray the final coat, light fill coat or fog coat.
Step 4
Touch up as needed just like normal paint, with brush, roller, sprayer or hopper. Touch up Texture with Hamilton all finish texture.
Simple Application

1. Packaging: 65 lbs. (29.48 kg) net weight in 5-gallon plastic pails. Protect from direct sunlight and keep from freezing. Do not stack more than 3 pails high. Shelf life of 6 months.
2. Coverage: Approximately 500-700 square feet per 4.5 gallon pail, depending on wet film
thickness and desired texture.
3. Thinning: Do not thin product.
4. Mixing: Mix well before using.
5. Drying Time: Dry to touch in approximately 15-45 minutes for paint/fog coat at 68°F (20°C) and good ventilation.
6. Clean-Up: Wash tools and equipment with water.
7. Job and Surface Conditions: Substrate must be dry, clean, sound, and free from contaminants such as dust, oil, mildew, debris, and efflorescence. Minimum air, mix and surface temperatures of 50°F (10°C) must be maintained within working areas until product is completely dry.
MASONRY, POURED CONCRETE, AND PLASTER: Surfaces should cure for a minimum of 7 days prior to application.
8. Application: Spray Texture-Paint using an appropriate texture tip/atomizer to achieve the desired texture. Compressor must have a minimum of 9 CFM. Allow approximately 30 minutes until texture is tacky and loses its wet sheen before applying paint using an airless sprayer capable of at least 1 gallon per minute at 2700-3000psi with .025″-.035″ tip. Apply a full paint/fog coat application of Texture & Paint with an airless sprayer 5-8 mils wet film thickness (WFT). May thin paint coat for desired sprayability.
